You are cordially invited to join the College of Technology and Innovation in conjunction with Advanced Technology Innovation Collaboratory (ATIC) as we host polyTECH day on November 30, 2007. The event, spurred in part by the Entrepreneurship at ASU Initiative, will showcase student and faculty projects across all colleges/schools and departments. We anticipate a Student Union full of posters, displays and demonstrations of class and research projects ranging from robots to semiconductors to water purification systems for developing countries to mini Baja vehicles. Provost Capaldi has accepted our invitation to speak at the event. We expect a significant turnout from ASU and industry.
polyTECH day has several benefits: to create an awareness of campus activities to other students, faculty and staff; advocate our students and programs to local industry and recruit new students from the region. We are specifically targeting industry that currently have, or potentially have, a stake in the success of the Polytechnic campus. In addition to the showcase and demonstrations, the event will include an industry keynote speaker and a networking social.
